day 9

For starters school was good!! and before i go anyfuther... the last day i think i forgot to mention that i woke up at 4 to call home... why?bc my sister is ENGAGED.... and they were having a family party without me... but if you didn´t know... now you do!!! anyways... after school, me ama and maite picked up aita from work then we walked a long way out in the very fisherman basque of the country and we ate lunch... then we took a little about across the very short bay to the other side... Which this town was VERY VERY BASQUE... and all of them are in favor of ETA... so it was quite crazy... but it was a very cute little town!! but then we left and we went up to the top of the mountain... and there it was very beautiful!!! we could see all of basque country, even France!! it was very beautiful... i loved it!! they also took me around to see a bunch of other little towns and beaches were we would just stop for a little bit and look around! Then we went shopping at the sports store because i needed tennis shoes... well... bc stupid me didn´t bring any. any ways i found some... and they litterally took them from me and bought them for me... it was soo nice... but it´s me... so i was little mad... i didn´t want them to have to do that... But ama said tu vives en mi casa... soy tu madre... (you live in my house, i am your mother). Then we went shopping for food... and to my surprise this place was much like a place in America... and now that i mention that... the Sports store was so much like JOE´s... i loved it... it smelt like it... so i took in deep breaths to bring back good memories of home :)!!! anyways... DESTRACTION!! the food store.... lots of food.... i saw a full octopus... well small... and a squid... pleasant sight... not! hahaha... well after that we headed home... hung out... ate dinner... and then we went to bed... eventually!!! and that was that day... and once again i do´nt have pics downloaded yet... so i will get them soon..... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..... i forgot about the storm!! that was fun.... it it was a beautiful day but then the clouds came and when we got in the house it started to rain... then thunder and lighting.... OHHH i likey!!!! and then after it was late like 9ish.. maite and i went out for a walk and we were out for like almost 2 hours... we didn´t come back till ike 11... but it was a beautiful walk all along the cost and stuff.... and all the lights... so beautiful!!! okay then we came back and went to bed...!!! now i think thats it ;)

8th Day!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!! Lacunza here i come!! oh today was so much fun at school. it was really relaxed just introducing ourselves and then pracitcing spanish. it was fun. Its like a class of 11! my first teacher was pretty funny. he had a sore throat, and that was funny, but he is only the teacher for the day because our other teacher was sick! then my next profesor for the day was Carmen. she was pretty darn funny! But it was really good. Maite picked me up, and i finally exchanged my dollars for eros, that was depressing :(! haha... but then we went and baught bread for lunch and then went to a bar and some pinchos! then we headed back home. and hour later we had lunch! then i took a nap because i am actually not feeling well, i have kind of a sore throat and a headache, a little cough, but no temperature. but after the nap i felt much better! but still a little sick. and now i am here on the computer finally caught up with my days... besides the pictures for that one! and im not doing to bad! just being lazy, i actually just got done watching a movie with Aita (dad). We watched 21 which i saw on the plane but it was good!! well you guys are awesome!! hope life is well eh? perfecto... Agur!

Day 7

Up at 11:30!!!! i kind of just layed around, maite was sleeping and noone was home. So i just listened to music. and then took a shower! lunch was around 2. it was delicious. then again just hung around the house. at about 4:30 maite and i walked to Geralds for a bible study... which was a 45 min walk, but absolutly beautiful!! Maite didn´t stay... so it was me, the griffin family, Derek and his wife and kids, sunni and natalie! it was a wonderful time to spend in prayer, reading God´s word and taking communion! Then afterwards we went to the sports coffee... we had hamburgers, we met ugaitz and just hung around and talked for a long time! it was great! then Gerald took me home! and that was my day. it was wonderful! except for the fact that i was beginning to get sick! :(

DAy 6

Well, the family woke up at 10! we cleaned the house and then we got ready to leave. We went to first a church, that is acutally newer, i think they said it was only built like 5 years ago! but it was beautiful, and we went to part of a serman, and that was interesting. And afterwards we got a special tour up stairs to see the virgin, don´t remember the name. but i will post pictures and videos later because i don´t have them downloaded on the computer right now! but anyways after that we went out to eat at a restaraunt. the food was amazing, but there was so incredibly much of it... i don´t think that i have ever been so full in my life. i literally couldn´t eat until like 9:45 and lunch was at 2... and for me that is saying somehting! ha... but after that we went to maite´s family´s village... so where her parents grew up! that was a lot of fun, i met her grandma, aunt, cousin and uncle! Maite, her cousin and i went to the beach and hung out there for a long time... it was a lot of fun! Then her uncle picked us up and we headed back to grandma´s house! Then we headed on home!! it was a lot of fun... A very good day!!! again i will post pics later!

day 5!

So today once again i woke up at 4 and went back to sleep at 7 and then i was up at 9:30. So first i went to Lacunza the school that i will be starting on Monday and i took my test to place what level i will be going into when i get there! So first i did that and then maite was like okay we are going to meet someone... and i was like okay... who... and she said it´s a surprise... okay!! so we went to like the main place where a lot of kuadrillas hang out... and we sat down and all the sudden someone comes behind us and gives a big hug and it was PAULA!!! HURRAY!! i was so glad to see her... and it was really different speaking to her in spanish it was fun for her thats for sure! but yea we just hung out for a little bit and talked. But it wasnt´for very long because we had to go to lunch. Paula will be leaving soon... so she will be further away... but i shall see her once during the big week!! i hope anyways. ç
Then maite and i headed back and had lunch... and then it was a lazy day we just sat around the house we went out and rented a movie... came back ate dinner and then watched the movie and went to bed!! so it was a good day!!! nice and relaxing!

Day 4

Well after not going to bed until like 4:30 it was my first time getting a good sleep... I slept until........ 2:00... maite cam and woke me up and said jackie it´s time to get up... and i was like what time is it...2:00 she said... and i was like......... WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! And she was like time for lunch!! okay... well that was crazy!!! i had never slept that late before. But after lunch we just hung out for a little and then we went to the beach with her friends!!!!OH mY GOODNESS!!! mucho GENTE... a lot of people.... WOW... anyways we met up with her Kuadrilla and just hung out for a little bit... then maite and i had to go back to make a salad because we were going to her friend chok´s house to have dinner with the kuadrilla!! That was a lot of friend... her house was soo nice!!! i loved it!! and there was a lot of food... and then they played this game... sort of like American idle... so the girls sang in like partners to the music and then Chok and the other girl were the judges and that was soo funny.... Maite sand what i like about you... but she only knew half of the words so it was pretty funny and she went crazy!!! i enjoyed watchin... i was way to tired to do anything else!! But it was fun... and then we went home and arrived at like 12:30 and went to bed... not to crazy of a day but it was fun!!!!!

WHAT A NIGHT!!

Day 3 "Crazy"

What a day!!! once again it began with waking up at 4 am and i was up until 9 and i went back to sleep and slept till noon!! maite and i went shoping for food!!! then we ate lunch... lentils... we use to eat them all the time when i was younger and i didn´t like them... but i tried... and tried... but finally i was no no no... i can´t... it was quite funny... maite kept saying if you don´t want you don´t have to eat and i was like no i will try... bad idea ;)...... After that i got ready and then i went to go meet Ane.. my sister from 3 years ago!!! that was a lot of fun!!! we just hung out at a bar... there was nobody ther except us.. but we just sat and talked, it was only for like two hours... and then i had to leave... to get ready... for the... BIG... Azpeiti!!!! Oh my goodness!!! to get there the bus ride was like 45 mins to an hour. then we got there and there were kuadrilla´s everywhere drinking and smoking and dancing to the music! But it was so much fun because i saw Fermin and Aitor!! and then a bunch of the crew that stayed in Seattle!! as well as two other interns... Sunni and Monica!! but we had a lot of fun... just got something to eat... then basically went from bar to bar just dancing... many people were drinking but i didn´t and maite either... and i asked her why not and she said because my mother says "maite don´t drink" "maite don´t drink" so i am going to be a good daughter... and for those of you who no maite well that is a little bit different!!! but anyways we just danced and danced and walked the streets and pushed our way through... oh man there were so many people it was difficult!! at it was really fun because i saw mirea from 3 years ago... but i didn´t recognize her at all... and finally i kind of did but i have a picter... hopefully i can post it on here... but she stayed with the Gordons! well that was a lot of fun!! It was crazy... we got back home at 3:30 am here dad came to pick us up... but most teenagers can´t leave until the next morning because they have to wait for the bus to pick them up! so they got home at like 8 or 9 in the morning!! CRAZY!!! anyways i will post some pics for Azpeite it was crazy but fun!!! i loved it!!! Agur for now!! :)
